Ive had the set for about weeks now and have had no plate sticking at all. That appears to be the issue most people have with this weight set. Im going to share a tiny secret with you.. Spray some WD40 on the sliding mechanism and where the plates contact the bar. I have not one time had a plate stick. However, I also dont carelessly pull the dumbells out of the basket. I looked at several stores. I looked at the bowflex, power blocks, and proform fusion. I decided on these because they were the least pricey, and they felt sturdy. These are lovely for the money. Dont carelessly pull the dumbells out of the backets and WD40 the sliding bits! Do this and you ought to be golden. The sliding mechanism could be better, but as long as plates are alligned properly and you pull the weight changing pin straight out, you wont have any issues. I'd also like to point out that these are correct within 1/2 a pound.
